Taking inspiration from literature, film and styles of the past, YMC‘s spring/summer 2012 collection takes classic fabrics and designs and puts them together with an imaginative, up-beat twist. This doesn’t mean they’ve sewn smiley faces on to parka jackets, oh no. Instead they’ve alluded to Milanese scooter boys and the Cote D’Azur of the 1960′s with fresh chinos, plimsoles and loafers. Using lightweight cottons, silks and canvas the London brand’s latest lot also includes chinos, blazers, summer jackets and crew neck jumpers. You might say this doesn’t sound very imaginative but then you might also be wrong because, behold! See their glorious garms below and start counting the days until they arrive.
